I am operating in a pure Windows XP environment. I want to be able to make a mirror copy of a set of folders on another drive on the same machine. But the target drive is a USB-attached drive, so I can never be sure that the drive letter is stable or that the correct drive is, in fact, mounted on the computer at any given time. So I need to be able to specify the target device by volume name, not by drive letter. Is this possible with either of your versions?

Currently that is not possible, but we are planning to add this feature in one of our future releases...

I think you can do a little work around here...
Yes you can assign a drive letter for your USB drive like W: and each time you plug this drive, Widows will take the W: drive letter (W: as an exemple).

To do so, right click "My computer", Manage, select "Disk Management", find your disk in the lower right section (ex: Disk1 40GB Ntfs...), right click on the description and select "Change Drive letter and Paths", click modify and chose W:, click OK. Now your done! Each time you plug your USB Drive Windows will assign the W: driver letter!

Good luck! Cool

I knew this was possible on 2003 but I was not aware of the same on XP. That's great! Thank you Astenz Wink
