Newbie here...
I have a folder I want to back up to a target that has more files in it.
Is backup the correct VV method for this?
What I'd like to do is just have VV check the files in the target folder and only move them from the source if they are newer. That should save hours of CPU churn. Is this just called a "delta"?
Thus:
If files exist in target and have not changed, do nothing.
If they have changed, overwrite.
If they do not exist in target, copy to target.
Why should the backup process first delete thousands of files that haven't changed?
Thanks,
