I have upgraded my PC to Windows 7. When I try to do a Backup from my PC's harddisk to an external Firewire disk (LaCie Rugged), I get the following error message, when ViceVersa tries to delete a file on the LaCie:
"Can not delete [Filename]. Access is denied"
I have set the security permissions on the LaCie to grant full access to Users (as suggested in other posts on this forum), but no change.
P.S. I have tried the suggestion to launch ViceVersa with Administrator privileges. This works. BUT I would like to launch ViceVersa from the different profiles, instead of launching ViceVersa.exe and then loading the desired profile manually. Is there any way to lauch ViceVersa with Admin privileges when launching through the proifle file? |

Hi, yes, it's possible: right-click on ViceVersa.exe in the installation folder, then select compatibility and enable the option "run this program as administrator", thanks _________________ --
