Hello friends and co-users,

I bought a WD harddrive with an integrated back-up software: WD SmartWare-Software

Can I run VVPro and WD SmartWare-Software at the same time on one computer without negative interference of the function of both (or at least VVPro) ?

thanks for the help in advance

best

Thank you !

So not even concerning the tags whether or not a file has been changed since it was last backed up.

In theory, if two different backup programs (e.g. VVPro and the above mentioned) use the same tag, then they would confuse each other.

Do I understand it right, that this is not the case ? VVPro uses a tag that is not modified by some other backup-program ?

thanks again

Hi, ViceVersa uses the file modified timestamp to decide which files are updated and must be copied, that tag is not modified by any backup application. thanks
