|

I have a sync job setup to run every fifteen minutes(using windows Task scheduler) to sync a directory over a WAN. The directory contains about 73000 files and is growing. The problem I am having is that some files in source directory are not getting synced to the target directory. I have to run the sync manually in order for it to pick up the missing files. I was using a mapped drive in the beginning but just changed it to a UNC path as I saw this in other posts, but am still having the issue. Any ideas would be helpful |

The setup is Windows Server 2008 on both ends. There is a 3MB link between the locations and the source directory is constantly updated. |

It looks like the change to the UNC path from a mapped drive has helped the sync as I am not missing files like I was before. The past two days I have not had any files missing. It did not seem like the change made a difference but I guess I just needed to let it catch up. As for timing. If I have the jobs set to happen too quickly is that an issue. Will the jobs interfere with each other or will the job just not run since one is already running? |

Hi, OK, let us know should this issue still happen. Multiple jobs do not interfere but make sure they do not share tracking db nor log file (profile settings -> execution)
