Hi,
I have used VV for several years and like it, but you have promised for years to add to the next version of VVEngine faster scans (backing up only changed files without recomparing the entire hard drive).
I do not see this on the list of new features, which is very disappointing.
What is the status of that feature?
Thank you. |

Hi
Unfortunately that feature is not in version 2.0
There are 2 main features to add now to VVEngine:
- Smarter file change detection without rescanning
- Ability to gather results from multiple running VVEngine in a central location
thanks[/list] _________________ --

that is disappointing. I really like VV, but as my storage increases on my hard drive, the rescanning makes it more difficult to use.
I am not even going to ask when you expect this feature because it has been promised for so long.
Unfortunately, I may have to bite the bullet and go with a competitor who has this feature.
Can you provide any explanation of why this is taking so long? is this a technically challenging feature?
Thanks |
