|
|
I have noticed that sometimes when I use VV to copy files from one directory to another, VV changes the time stamp on the files as they are copied.
For instance I just used VV to sync 2 directories using "Backup Mirror Source to Target". Several files were not in the target directory so they were copied there. The time stamp on the files in the source directory was 9/28/2010 12:04:11 PM and as soon as they were created in the target directory, they had a time stamp of 9/28/10 4:35:31 PM. They are four and a half hours apart, and now the files in the target directory show up as 4.5 hours newer than their identical source directory counterparts!
I performed this VV file copy on 9/29/2010 at 9:19 AM. I would upload a screen shot, but I don't think that we can with this forum. I am using VV Pro 2.5 Build 2501 on Windows 7 Pro 64bit. Is there a fix for this? |

Hello
please post your profile settings here (if you saved the profile to .fsf, open the file with Notepad and copy and paste content here).
What type of drive is the target ? Is it another computer or a NAS or USB?
Could the target time stamp 9/28/10 4:35:31 PM be the time when the file was copied on the target machine?
