Vice Versa jobs just hang forever

I synchronize Data between two Windows file servers using Vice Versa 1.3.1. When loading and executing the project everything works smoothly but when using VVscheduler sometimes the job would finish successfully, sometimes it would just hang and do nothing. Log file shows entries like this:

2005-05-24 14:26:22 : Copying \\serverx\sharey\filez [OK].
2005-05-24 14:26:24 : Copying

any hints what could be wrong?
