|

Dear support,
I am using Microsoft DPM 2010 for backing up my HyperV machines. DPM does only transfer the differences. Now i want to backup my virtual machines to another server with VPN (DPM 2010 does not backup to other server).
My question is: Does ViceVersa only sends the differences with a VSS copy of a hyperV disk?
Or does it sends the whole vhd everytime?
Please get back to me.

Hello
yes, with that functionality it would send only the changes. How effective that is with a hyper-v machines needs to be analyzed. If the file changes a lot anyway in between replications, that would not speed up the copy at all, even make it slower.
