ViceVersa ROCKS !! But, for the first time I have had to restore hundreds of files from hundreds of folders. The issue is: With the date being appended to the files during the normal sync, when I perform a SOURCE and DESTINATION to restore the items into a temp directory they come back across with the dates placed on them during the normal sync (due to it being a copy back of the new filenames).

Unfortunately, the application that i rebuild folders from these files will not recognize them with the _date appended. I manually renamed a file by removing everything appended (after the __) and my app could rebuild and access the file.

So, Is there a way during the SYNC RESTORE to remove everything after the _ so the files restored have their original file names. Very critical in time savings. Again, I have hundreds of directories with sub directories that these files reside in.

Really hope there is a simple solution......

Although I searched the Forum for the answer without success, I just did what you asked and found what I was looking for. Much thanks...
