Does the "View" drop down selector affect which files are mirrored from the source to the target?

I usually set "View" to single only before I execute the backup to see if I have inadvertently deleted any files from the source before i execute the backup. It seems when I do this that files that are older on the target are NOT updated with new versions from the source?

Yes, VV will take action only on the files visible in the View. When you select an exec method it automatically selects the right view.

Thanks for the reply. This almost caught me, since I did not expect the word "VIEW" to imply any change in selection. I would suggest that this be changed to "SELECT" from a human factors point of view.

I am a casual single user and otherwise I have found this program to be excellent and I use it to maintain my backups.

Keep up the good work.

Louis
