Does the "View" drop down selector affect which files are mirrored from the source to the target?
I usually set "View" to single only before I execute the backup to see if I have inadvertently deleted any files from the source before i execute the backup. It seems when I do this that files that are older on the target are NOT updated with new versions from the source? |

Yes, VV will take action only on the files visible in the View. When you select an exec method it automatically selects the right view. _________________ --

Thanks for the reply. This almost caught me, since I did not expect the word "VIEW" to imply any change in selection. I would suggest that this be changed to "SELECT" from a human factors point of view.
I am a casual single user and otherwise I have found this program to be excellent and I use it to maintain my backups.
Keep up the good work.
