Hi,

We had to reboot the server that runs VV and since the reboot, the profiles in VV engine are all enabled but they wont run.
When you try to run the profile, it indicates it's not enabled.

I've tried disabling and re-enabling again but not joy.
I can access the drive letters in windows explorer, so the path is working and visable.

I've been trying to work this out all weekend, please help.

thanks

Did you install VVEngine as a Windows service? Under which account? Could this be the issue: http://www.tgrmn.com/web/kb/item93.htm
thanks

Hi we don't believe your suggestion you made to be the problem.
When we try and run the profile we get the following error message:

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\ViceVersa PRO 2\jigsolsvr.fsf is not enabled.

Do you know what the cause of this would be?

Many thanks

Simon

Not being funny, but it is enabled, when we try to run the profile, it still says not enabled.
Thanks

Please we need help..... can someone help us here, otherwise the software is useless and redundant, and we can't take data off-site should a disaster strike.

Thanks

Thanks, the issue seems to be that there is no execution method specified in the ViceVersa profile you are trying to run (C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\ViceVersa PRO 2\marc.fsf)

Hi,
the marc profile was a test profile, so this can be safely ignored, all the other profiles give the error.
Thanks

Is there any chance of you responding to the last post. FYI, teknite are our support company and Jigsol is the company using the software and we use your software to sync our data to our DR site and we feel we need quicker responses from you. I know you don't have any contact numbers but what is your service level agreement time for responding.

This problem is taking too long and with the level of service I am receiving I feel I need to make you aware of this and ask that you speed this process up for us. We are happy to carry out any instructions you give us to test and help you resolve but at the moment it is a very drawn out process. Please help us?

Thanks

Hello

please shut down / stop VVEngine. Then empty the file VVEngine.log and restart VVEngine. Use your profiles and create the error then resend the log to support, so we can focus on a clean run. thanks

OK, it looks like the source and target can't be accessed. Are you using UNC paths in the profiles or mapped drives? Mapped drives are not accessible to Windows services and VVEngine is setup to run as service. thanks
