Hello,

Can I purchase Server versions of VVPro and VVEngine and use them on Windows 7? I am running an Oracle database on my Windows 7 Enterprise and I need the server edition of VVPro.

What are the functional differences between the desktop and server versions of VVEngine? If there are none, can I use the desktop version of VVEngine in this case as it is used on Windows 7?

Thank you.

Hello,

Yes, to backup Oracle you'll need the server license (and you can use that on Windows 7). Re VVEngine you can buy the workstation license.

thanks
