I am about to re-format and upgrade to Windows 7.
I am led to understand that if I use vice versa to clone my C drive to another portable exterior drive [copy everything] then remove all the operating systems [previous Windows] from the cloned copy I can copy back all files and programs back to the C drive and all programs will operate okay.
Is that correct?
Bear in mind that I understand that some of my programs will not be Windows 7 compatitable.
Can you please advise if this will happen.
Unfortunatly I do not have all the disks for some of these programs which I use regularly |

No, that won't work. After installing Windows 7 you'll need to re-install all your programs (good opportunity to not re-install programs you do not need!) and then you can copy the data files (e.g. DOC, xls, pictures etc) that you mirrored with ViceVersa. thanks _________________ --
