Running 2.5 on XP Pro. No matter what Execution Option I choose it always runs 100% hidden. I can tell it's running by looking in Task Manager, but get no user interface or status window despite having chosen those.

Hello, that's strange, please try deleting the task(s) and re-create a new one. While the task is not running make sure there are no left-over VV processes running. thanks

No, still invisible. I made sure no VV processes running.

After the scheduled time I waited a moment and, making sure VV was running in Task Manager, I opened VVScheduler and it also showed that task as running.

I copied the command line from the log and ran it from a DOS box and that did run and appear normally.

Here is the beginning of the log file:

And further, now I see that while the profile runs normally if invisibly, it never stops. It completes itself and the log looks exactly like it does for any completed backup, but the scheduler window still shows it "running" hours later until I manually stop it.

I'm having the same issue with the trial version of ViceVersa PRO 2.5 32bit. The software is installed on a Windows 7 laptop.

My 2.5 Pro (not trial) problem is with an XP desktop. Same program on my Windows 7 laptop works correctly, but even though it runs completely and ends normally the message always says "manually terminated", even though it wasn't.

In Windows7, and may be true for other versions, if you put the ViseVersa run in the Task Scheduler.... If you put it to "Run whether user is logged on or not" then the task will be hidden. If you put it to "Run only when user is logged on" it will be visible and you can interact with it...
