Sometimes (not always) i receive this error-message and log-file.
08 23:50:32 : Sending E-Mail ...
2010-05-08 23:50:32 : Connecting to SMTP server: mail.genotec.ch, port: 25, user: 'sysadmin@buecheler-ag.ch' ...
2010-05-08 23:50:32 : Sending E-Mail to: p.buecheler@buecheler-ag.ch, c.baumgartner@buecheler-ag.ch, k.tschann@buecheler-ag.ch, jw@business-link.net, from: sysadmin@buecheler-ag.ch ...
2010-05-08 23:50:33 : Done.
2010-05-08 23:50:33 : [ERROR] There was no response from the server. - 450 4.7.0 Too many messages from unauthenticated user from=<sysadmin@buecheler-ag.ch> source=[82.195.224.25]: rate limit exceeded!
************************************************************

Could it be, that this error occurs, due the fact i use more than one receipient? The outgoing email-adress is used only by ViceVersa and my
provider informed me, that the problem comes from ViceVersa.

Could you please check this issue?

thank you, best regards.
Joe

Hello

Looks like some form of rate limiting on either your mail provider or the recipient. Either you're sending too many messages in too short of a span, or there are a lot of other users sending a lot of emails at one time.

Possibly a spambot running on your system or someone else on your ISP?

thanks

Dear support
My provider says, if more than 100 emails per minute comes from the same adresse this error will occur. But only ViceVersa use this adress, this is the reason, why i ask you. Could you please ask the programmer, how this is possible.
best regards
Joe

Two times. Once on 21:00h and once on 23:00h. Regularly it takes about 45 minutes. And it's the 64bit version.

kind regards

Please let me close this call.

I'am not really shure, but i think, what is the reason for this behaviour.

I used in the receipients-adress a comma, instead of a semicolon.

Eventhough this is wrong, the error-message above is comming up
only sometimes.

Many thanks for your support.
