I am running Vice Versa on a SBS 2003 over VPN with another SBS 2003 server, with 6GB mirror of approximately 15000 files. Works well for large majority, but quite a few files error with this message:

Copying file ... (32.31KB) [The size, attributes or timestamp of ... have changed after comparison. For data security reasons this file will be skipped. Press 'Refresh' to recompare Source and Target.] [ERROR].

This is a first time mirror and it is over the weekend, so I believe the files have not changed since the compare. The compare itself takes about 20 minutes.

I have re-run and I get nothing but errors as the 5% or so files that errored continue to error, even with a new compare.

Any ideas? Any thoughts greatly appreciated!

Hello

you could activate the option "Copy files even if timestamp changes after initial comparison", in profile settings -> advanced settings

thanks

I'm getting the same error. I'm using VV Pro 2.5 build 2501 and Windows 7. I'm copying files from an internal hard drive to Jungle Disk drive which is mounted as a removable drive.

Activating the option "Copy files even if timestamp changes after initial comparison" works around the problem, so this issue is not critical, just annoying.
