I use ViceVersa to synch my desktop with my laptop, and vice versa. I use a portbale hard drive as the bridge between the two computers.
Logically, there are files on each computer and the portable hard drive with the same name, and content, except for additions or modification to one, or the other, that I have made on different occassions on DIFFERENT DATES.
After your software begins the EXECUTE command it will find a file on both the source and the target with the same name, but it fails to disclose the last save of each file and I am at a loss to decide if I should respond "yes" or "no" to overwrite enquiry.
When I drag and drop from Windows XP the software discloses the date of the last SAVE DATE so that I can decide.
I do not have the brain power to memorize the list of Copy or Delete files that your menu discloses.
When your software asks if the user want to overwite a file with another same name file, your software should disclose the last save date of each, as does Window XP.
Is there a setting in Vice Versa to accomplish a date comparison before overwriting? |

Hello
If I am not mistaken the message should mention if you are overwriting an older file or newer file, which version are you using?
thanks _________________ --
