I have been performing file/folder backups using VV for a few years now. I recently performed a "Show Comparison" after a scheduled backup and I found that many files were not copied or updated when the task was run. These files are months or years old. Only when I press Execute after the comarison is performed are the files and folders copies or updated. Any idea why?

Hello

are you using VVScheduler to schedule the task? Does it show any errors?
