I have windows 7, 64 bit and installed vice versa three weeks ago, 64 bit version. In my destination directory I have about 55,000 files that are unique and should be removed. I used mirroring to accomplish this, but found that as it was deleting the files, it continued to eat up memory and then came to a crashing halt after about 15,000 files were deleted. I have 8GB memory. My guess there is a memory leak.
I had hoped the latest update would have taken care of the problem I currently have about 15,000 files left to delete and VV is deleting them at the rate of 1 each 20 seconds of so and then stops after 15 files are deleted, indicating the mirroring is finished. Que pasa? |
