|

I am running Windows 7 x64 and ViceVersa 2.5 x64. I've never had any problems with a sync project until last night when I was moving a large collection of AVI files from one drive to another. It was probably 10 GB's in size.
The syncing was moving along just fine when about a third of the way into it, Windows froze. I rebooted, twice, because for some reason, Windows would not come up after the first reboot, then I started the program and the sync again and once again, windows froze up on me about another third of the way into it.
I rebooted again, restarted the program and was finally able to complete the project. So my question is...Does ViceVersa just have a problem occasionally when it comes to moving that many and that large of files? Could it have been a Windows 7 thing, an x64 thing or what?
I also have looked into the problem being with memory. I have 8GB's, but I have arranged to out new sticks. |

I would say that there were about 25 AVI's that had been renamed that were being copied and about 15 AVI's that were new on one drive that had to be copied. |

OK, that's not many at all. The issue must be with the file size only. Can you see any error logged in the Windows Event Log?
