I´m using Vice Versa Free (1.0.4) under Windows 7 Pro 64.

I´ve an issue with some folders I´m trying to sync between my harddrive (NTFS) and a USB memory stick (FAT).

Even with the 2 second filter on, there are some folders that are shown as "unmatched" even when they are exactly the same (I just copied then from HD to USB). In fact, even with the 60s filter on I get the same.

What bugs me is that this doen´t happen with all folders, it affects some folders apparently at random (and all files in said folder)

Anyone´s got an idea about this?

I'm also getting identical files flagged as being different. As mentioned by "Darkblood18", this problem seems to be random. In my case, though, it usually only SOME files in a directory that show this problem!

Can someone let me know if this problem has been resolved?

Thanks,

Wayne

Hello

Check the name casing of the files and sub-folders that are reported different. That could be the issue.

thanks

Unfortunately, the case of all letters in both the folder name and the filenames seem to be identical. I'm emailing you two small JPG files that show part of the Source/Target comparison where my problem shows up. Hopefully, this info will shed some light on the problem! Wayne

Ok, this error is really anoying and it affects about 30% of the folders that VV creates while synching. I starting to think about replacing VV.

Are you guys still looking into it or should I give up? Crying or Very sad
