|

VVersa Pro logs error events in the Windows event log for every minor irregularity that occurs during a synchronization job. Most of these irregularities are immaterial, but they are clogging up our event log with needless red flags. Is there any way to turn this feature off in the new version? I review all of vice versa's log files individually anyway, so there's no need for it to be writing to the Windows event log. Thanks. -Patrick |

Many of the user files being synchronized are from laptops which are not always in the office. So of course some of the scheduled synchronizations are going to fail. But I don't need that sort of notification filling up my Windows event log. Thanks.

I'm not entirely sure that I understand the question clearly, but I will try to answer it here.
The Windows event logs that are being filled up are on the servers where Vice Versa is installed (I have several licenses). I log into the servers and check the event logs manually using the Windows administration tools in the control panel.
The servers are running Windows Server 2003 in a domain environment.
Thanks. |
