Hi,

In using the same profile, VVPro runs fine and the network path opens fine. But, using the same profile for VVScheduler, VVScheduler cannot find the source folder. This used to be fine under Windows XP. Now I'm running Windows 7 and it no longer works. HELP! See error message below.

In any case, shouldn't it work for the same given profile? (since VVPRO runs fine in real time but VVScheduler does not).

2010-02-04 19:38:16 : [ERROR] Source: folder "\\?\X:\docs\" not found. The system cannot find the path specified.
2010-02-04 19:38:16 : Exit Code: 13. Source folder not found. [ERROR]

Hello

under which account are you running the task in VVScheduler? If X is a mapped drive that could be the problem,

thanks

Hi,

I have exact same problem as OP.

Runs fine from VVPro, but when I try to schedule I get the Error 13 Source folder not found. The schedule is running under the same user account as mapped the drive. This is running over a VPN connection.
It is a Windows 7 machine that VVPro is running on. I have several XP machines that do the same thing over the VPN and run perfectly.

Thanks
Chris

Same account. In fact, I'm running both real-time just to make sure it works.

Thanks for the help.

Hello

there could be several reasons why this is happening, most probably due to the Windows network setup.

My suggestion is not to use mapped drives, and instead try the UNC path directly, e.g. \\computer\share\

Please let me know how that goes.

thanks!

Direct path does not work. VVPro still thinks there is a \\x:\. . .
Switching back to original path (\\?\x:\...) also now cause problems. It asks whether the database should be reset. Should it be reset?

This is for VVPro. I haven't try VVScheduler yet.

Please help.

Direct path works. The reason it did not work earlier was because the excluded files still used the mapped drive. The database had to be reset. Thanks for the help.
