Hello

sorry what is an encrypted shell ? If the files on the encrypted drive report a different size than the original then switch on the option ignore size in ViceVersa PRO profile settings -> execution

Please also note that ViceVersa can implements its own encryption too, in which case you would be applying double encryption.

thanks

The problem I am having with my current synch software started when I upgraded my desktop to windows 7 pro.

The encryption program I used to create the encrypted block of data on my external drive is Truecrypt. Since upgrading to Windows 7 a number of the files on the external drive that have been stored in the encrypted volume are not accessible to the synch software. Your suggestion might solve that problem since I can't change any settings on my current software that ignores changes in file size.

I'll let you know what happens

Thanks again for the prompt post
