Hi
Am interested in purchasing but need to know wheter vice versa will synch between an encrypted shell on an external drive and the host computer it is connected to?
Running windows pro 64 bit
the encrypted drive is NTFS formatted

Hello
sorry what is an encrypted shell ? If the files on the encrypted drive report a different size than the original then switch on the option ignore size in ViceVersa PRO profile settings -> execution
Please also note that ViceVersa can implements its own encryption too, in which case you would be applying double encryption.

The problem I am having with my current synch software started when I upgraded my desktop to windows 7 pro.
The encryption program I used to create the encrypted block of data on my external drive is Truecrypt. Since upgrading to Windows 7 a number of the files on the external drive that have been stored in the encrypted volume are not accessible to the synch software. Your suggestion might solve that problem since I can't change any settings on my current software that ignores changes in file size.
I'll let you know what happens
