Hi Folks, I am changing my back up system and am about to trial VV. I currently have a laptop (Vista Ultimate) backing up to a desktop (XP Pro) using N360. I want to change as I am looking at the recovery process and I would not know where to start. How easy is VV to recover backed up data? Also I seem to have many versions of backed up data after switching from portable HD's, previous laptops etc to a desktop back up. Does VV have any deduping features so I can actually cull my data back up? Eventually after trialling I want to back up to a remote NAS. Anyone had any experience here? |

VV creates an exact mirror of all your files, so you always have a 1:1 copy. Files are copied as-is, so actually there is not restore process, the files are just there in the copy.

No, sorry.

Is this backup going to run over VPN?
