VVEngine stops running or does not start

At various times, I found that VVEngine stops running or does not start and must be started manually. Why? How to prevent?

I don't think so. I checked the log but did not see any sign of problem or that engine had stopped. I did find the place where I had restarted the engine manually, but there is nothing before that to indicate a problem. The engine was reportedly running according to the log, but the tray icon was gray.

I have just turned on my computer. Log file is below. Tray icon is gray and says "VVEngine not running". In browser control panel, VVEngine actually is running.

One possibility might have been that slow computer startup might delay starting of engine. When tray icon runs, engine may not have yet started. In this case, engine starts after tray icon, so icon reports that engine is not running. I tested this, however, by running the tray icon after other programs had started. I had the same result: "VVEngine not running".

I am not using the default port number.

sometimes the vvengine grays out and return blue only if i launch vvengine home... is it normal ?

should I use only he VVscheduler of Viceversa (64bit) 2.5 build 2501 ?? or can the vvengine 2.0 beta solve the problem ? and if yes where can I download it ( in the vvengine page there is nothing, but you say that you are pleased to announce the releas of vvengine 2.0 ......) where the .... can I download It :

p.s. do I have to uninstall vvengine and instal the new version ; do I maintain the profile and license ????
