Hello,
I am trying to mirror copy from an external HD on one computer to the external HD on another remote computer that are connected over a VPN. I keep getting the error "Can not read data. The I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request." I have used Vice Versa pro and engine to go from a local external HD to another local external HD for years. (D to D to D backup scheme. The Third D gets taken off premises) I use a backup program to do D to D backups both at home and at work. Now I want the local external HD to remote mirror copy to a remote external HD. I thought that this would work when I recently upgraded my connection speed at work. The upload speed is 5mbps at each location. One end is running win7 home and the other is running XP pro. All sharing is turned on and I have mapped the remote drives from each of the local computers. I cannot do it from either end. Are you able to help? Thanks. _________________ Kaziii |

I am sorry, bot we never heard of a similar issue before.... do you get this error message while copying or scanning the folders? Do you get the same error with Windows Explorer?
