Can I synchronize between local pc and ftp remote folders

Hi. I often need to overwrite files already existing on several remore folders (ftp access) by files existing on my pc, i.e. not only compare folders but overwrite files with the same name from local to remotely connected folders. To be more specific: Often with Joomla CMS whenever there is an upgrade of a component there is the need to replace patched filles locally uncompressed, to the remote ftp server on the same localtions (folders). Will vice-versa (probably pro) allow me to do that? Thanks
