Hi,
I've been using Vice Versa to sync large files (13 gigs +) with CRC and time stamp comparison. When the comparison is complete often the files end up still showing up on both sides of the comparison window with red x's next to the file names. What exactly does this mean? I have had results with green checks before and to my knowledge these files are not corrupt in any way.
Thanks. |

Hello, Red X means that the file was excluded, maybe a failure while calculating CRC? Did you get any error message? It can happen if the file is modified during CRC calculation. thanks _________________ --

I received an error message once. So this means that the two files did not pass the CRC and do not match completely? |

Hello, it means that data could not be read from the files in order to complete a CRC comparison. If you refresh the comparison, ViceVersa will try to re-compare their CRC. thanks _________________ --
