VV stops if a replication is running and the base source folders are completely empty to avoid deletion of all data is source. This is a safety feature. Please e-mail us a screenshot to check this specific case. _________________ --

i am trying to replicate (mirror) the source and target and my source is empty. what option is available to say this is OK and to continue processing and clear the target?
i also have multiple sources going to one target. how will this application handle this? |

To avoid accidentally deleting all files in target, by selecting an empty source, ViceVersa will stop replication if the source is completely empty. A work-around is to have a dummy zero-length file in the source which does not get deleted. I think in the next release we will probably need to add an option to disable this safety feature.

It will work fine if there are no collisions, that is files with the same name ending in the same path. Alternatively you could specify a different target folder for each source. _________________ --

the problem with the current version of the software is coding multiple sources and one target results in the target being purged of all documents not in the first source. then the remaning sources put all the files back to the target.
if source1 has 5 files and source2 has 10 files, the 10 files will always be copied everytime the sync runs. |

I am experiencing the same frustrations. In my mind a mirror means just that - you mirror everything exactly meaning that if there is a folder in the source containing no data, the target shouldn't care about a possible overwrite as we are dealing with a 'mirror' synchronization. |

I am running Version 1.3.1
Has this been fixed in a newer version yet?
Thanks,

Great.
I'll guess I'll have to order an upgrade.
