Hello,
just testing 30 days eval version of viceversa 2.5 and have it installed on W2K3 R2, SP2 server. Data should be backed up from W2K3 to W2K3 in same Windows domain. In profile I have done the following settings:
- No archive for deleted/replaced source files
- No archive for deleted/replaced target files
- Copy directly to destination file (do not use a temporary file)
- Try to copy files that are in use by other applications
- Copy file/folder permissions
- Copy file/folder auditing
- Copy file/folder owner
But just the file with standard properties with local Administrators and users and SYSTEM has been assigned will be copied to target. No domain users and no domain groups has been assigned. Both file systems are NTFS.
I'm working (logged in) with an Domain Administrative Account (not Administrator but member of Domain Administrators).
Is this a restriction of the eval version I use or what else might be wrong?
Thanks. |

Please also make sure that the root source and the root target have the same file permissions to start with. thank you _________________ --
