Before I recently purchased VV Pro 2.5, I asked about having problems caused by the problems Windows has with file date/time stamps. I was advised that VV had no problems with this.

I have two Maxtor USB HDs, one 1TG and one 1.5TG.

I use Synchronization to keep both the same with profiles for different categories of files.

I've just had one report 39 conflicts and these files now have a difference of 1 hour between the drives.

These files have not been changed on either drive since using VV, which has worked very well.

The change was reported by VV on the first occasion after Windows XP automatically changed from summertime, BST to winter time, GMT.

A typical Windows date/time problem returns after the clocks change.

Hello

are you using the option Ignore 1 hour difference between files ?
Are you seeing 1 hour difference between files in source and target that should instead have the same timestamp? That is because FAT file timestamps are not adjusted for Daylight Saving Time (DST) whereas NTFS entries are. To work around this, activate the option "Ignore 1 hour difference between files" in profile settings -> comparison,

thanks
