Hello

I have been using ViceVersa and VV Engine for many months/years without major issues. Recently changed my laptop, now runs Win 7 (32-bit) and am unable to sync from laptop to desktop... desktop to laptop works fine.

VV Pro 2.5 (recently updated) - Running on Desktop
VV Engine 1.1 - Running on Desktop
Desktop = Vista 64-bit
Laptop = Windows 7 32-bit (Mapped Drive on desktop)
Error Message = [Can not copy NTFS Additional File Streams of file "C:\whatever\file\location\and\or\name". The request is not supported.] Error.

This is really confusing...
= If i add a new file on Laptop it has above error when i sync i.e. error behaviour
= If i delete a file on laptop (that exists on desktop) it deletes on Desktop no problem when i sync i.e. normal behaviour
= If i add a new file on Desktop it copies to Laptop when i sync i.e. normal behaviour
= If i delete a file on Desktop (that exists on Laptop) it deletes on Laptop when i sync i.e. normal behaviour

Is this perhaps an issue between the different operating systems?

I have manged to find a solution in other posts...

By switching the the Advanced Settings|Copy Permissions, Security attributes and streams (NTFS Only)|Details|Do not copy file/folder data streams on, it appears to have solved my issue. Only time will tell.

Thank you for excellent products and forums that have the answers even if it takes a while to find them.
