Hi,

I am currently evaluating VV to back up a bunch of servers remotely over a WAN. I must say it it almost perfect for my needs, but I need it to be able to resume after a failure. NOT restart the entire profile, but resume. The reason is that all my servers are backed up with ghost and I have 1 or 2 large files (up to 100GB) to copy with VV. When one of these errors at 90% or whatever, it is not good enough just to restart the profile. I need VV to be able to resume - if VV can pause the job, why not be able to resume? These failures are network failures, but only VERY brief - I'm talking seconds.

Will this feature be in any upcoming releases, or better yet, am I missing something?

Thanks!

SAM

Hello,

currently restarting a file copy from the point where it was interrupted is not possible, this is a new feature we'd like to add in a future release.

thanks
