Lately when I am running VV jobs I am getting the following error:
Version: ViceVersa PRO 2.5 Build 2500 (SN219) [Registered][Server][VSS][****-****...]
Command Line: "C:\Program Files\ViceVersa Pro 2\ViceVersa.exe"
System: Windows Server 2003 R2, (Enterprise Edition), (x86-32 Processor) v5.2 Build:3790 Service Pack:2

Checking source D:\SYS\DATA\DMS\admin\ ...
Checking target \\**********\backup\SQL1\d_drive\sys\data\DMS\admin\ ...
[ERROR] \\************\backup\SQL1\d_drive\sys\data\DMS\admin\*.* : The specified network name is no longer available.
[ERROR] Error while reading Target information.
Aborted.
The device I am backing up to is a 4TB NAS (LaCie) and it has been working fine with Vice Versa for a while now. However starting last week I have been getting this error when I run VV jobs. I can browse to the path that it says "The specified network name is no longer available." What do you think could be going on?
There are other folders that VV is able to Compare before it gets to Admin and then it just stops.
Also on a few other jobs (on different servers) I will get this error on Random folders. This particular job I included in the example is always getting errors on \dms\admin |

Hi, try activating the option "Network Friendly Folder Scanning" , in profile settings -> performance / bandwidth.
Please let us know if this option helps with this error.
thanks! _________________ --

That does not work. I have already received this option from Support and I have already replied to them that it did not work.
The job still errors out on the same folder. |
