hi

is there anybody at support team ? i send 2 times a request for an error message, many days ago but no reply !?!

I get the following error message :

E:\Users\file.htm <to> \\diskstation\file.htm (2.77KB) (Overwriting) ...

[The size, attributes or timestamp have changed after comparison. For data security reasons this file will be skipped. Press 'Refresh' to recompare Source and Target.] [ERROR].

The log says also that the filedate is set before 1970 but it's not true.

What's wrong ?

Thanks to take care of this problem

Hello,

sorry for the delay.

Try the option "copy files even if time stamp changes after initial comparison", the option is in profile settings -> advanced settings

thanks

Hi,
Thanks for your reply !

Unfortunately it does not work, here is again the error message :

E:\Users\filehtm <to> \\ds1\file.htm (2.77KB)

[File Timestamp Error. Section 5. One of the timestamps of '\\ds1\file.htm' is set to before January 1, 1970. Please check file timestamps (you can use the Windows Explorer's file properties).] [ERROR].

In windows explorer, I got the following date for this file :
created : 10 april 2004
updated : 25 march 2004
last access : 10 april 2009

Awaiting your answer,
o.grandchamp

EDIT 24 sept 2009 : I set all file's timestamp to 23 sept 2009 12:00 but this does not solve the problem !

Hi,
It seems to be an issue with the file \\ds1\file.htm
It looks like ViceVersa is not reading properly the time stamp from this file. What type of drive is \\ds1\ ?

Hello,

The \\ds1\ is a network share to a synology diskstation (ds207+).
Other files are saved without problem.

Thanks for your help

Could this be a problem with overwriting existing files on the synology diskstation ?

Are you using the latest ViceVersa PRO 2.5 ? If yes, I can send you info on how to enable VV to provide extra debugging info, please write to support@tgrmn.com
thanks
