I recently updated to 2.5 Pro and have encountered an error I've never seen before. First, my configuation: Toshiba laptop with 60 Gig SSD drive, is running VISTA and I have 2.5 PRO build 2500 so I am putting data on USB drives to have enough room. My "usual" source USB drive is F: a 320 Gig drive. I have two "usual " targets - two FreeAgent drives, a 250 Gig at home and a 500 Gig at work. I designated the 250 as R: and the 500 as H: but when Vista sees them it still treats them as E: (not sure if that is part of the problem)
I have separate sync saves for each drive, with separate names, so I'd expect that there are separate databases set up within VV. In the past, I have always used SYNCHRONIZE, so that even if I happen to use one of the other drives, I have the latest and greatest everywhere.
Lately I caught the fact that I have lost data. Specifically, data which is new on my source drive is sometimes being treated as already deleted on my target drive, so it deletes also on my source drive.
Now that I found the error, I have switched to BACKUP. This avoids it, but it shouldn't be happening. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance . . .
