On other threads i've seen mention of a new version of vvengine that doesn't need to compare source and target before starting to copy and it monitors the changes that have occured on each.

Has any progress been made with this version?

We are finding that the time taken to check the target location (a remote server our case) is roughly 90% of the time required to process the entire profile and has made it necessary for us to increase our replication interval to allow the profile to complete.

Currently running vvpro 2015 and scheduling with vvlauncher, I have tested with vvengine 1.1 but this offers no improvement over vvlauncher in this regard.

Hi,

I have used VV for several years and like it very much. Unfortunately, this feature (comparing only changed file) has been promised for at least 2 and maybe more years.

as the number of files on my computer increases, the more difficult it is to use VV.

Although I like the software I have finally begun to look for alternatives. However, I hope this feature is added soon.

By the way, I think it should also be added to VV as well as VV Engine.

I am not a programmer, I am not sure why it's taking so long for this feature.

The software already recognizes instantly when a file has been changed but for some reason does not recognize which files.

This has been the most frustrating wait for software feature ever.

I would like to see this incorporated into Vice Versa as well. I work for a local government and we replicate Finger Print and mugshot data to several NAS devices. We want/need real time replication so that we can almost guaranty that we have an immediate copy of that data.

How can we use your software and guaranty that we have an immediate replication of the data as soon as it's created?
