Vice Versa Error while comparing

When running Vice Versa i am getting the following errors while comparing for backup,

"There is an error reading tracking database “C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ViceVersa Pro 2\vvdb1.tdb”, Tracking database needs to be reset.

We have restarted the server a few times to make sure nothing was still open and we are still getting this message, any thoughts?

A database reset is needed, that can be done in ViceVersa -> profile settings -> execution

Thank you for the response, i just want to make sure before i do a reset on the database, that nothing will be lost. i am new at vice versa, and am just filling in for the person who usually does this.

i understand a database reset is needed, but will this lose information?

i am unable to reset the database, i get the error Failed to reset database "C:/ path to file here". File not found or in use by another program. i can open the path and see the actual file, and we've reset the server but still getting the same error.

Hi, can you delete the tracking database file, using Windows Explorer? Then open the profile settings and click on "Reset Database" within ViceVersa, so ViceVersa will recreate a zero size file. thanks
