Running Windows Server 2003 SP1 32bit.

I've downloaded the trial of Visa Versa Pro 2.5 and have noticed issues with shadow copying hanging up when doing backups.

It will just sit there when it says creating Volume Shadow Copy. I've given it up to 30minutes.

It's been hit and miss with just using the program interactively. Generally I run it with the dialog autoexec switch and it just sits there every time at creating Volume Shadow Copy and never goes any further.

I swapped back to version 2.0 build 2014 which is the version I own.

I'm only backing up flat files such as word, excel, jpg, zip, etc

Build 2.0 build 2014 seems more reliable at least thus far on 2003 Sp1. with Shadow Copy enabled.

I've run 2.5 64bit with the dialog autoexec switch on Vista Business 64bit and it has run with out issue.

Hello

could you run ViceVersa PRO 2.5 on your Windows Server 2003 SP1 32bit again with the detailed VSS logging option enabled, and then send us the profile log? This new option is under profile settings -> advanced settings -> details (for VSS)

thank you
