Hi

Lets say we have 50 web servers, there is a software program running on each web server that copies files into a specific location. As soon as the folder is update I am looking to copy the update to the other 49 web servers. Any of 50 web servers can modify their local folder and therefore cause a replication to all of the other 49 servers.

1) Can ViceVersa support such an architecture ?

2) If so, would this be a nightmare to setup using ViceVersa because of the amount of profiles you would have to create to support 50 servers all copying to each other

3) Would the copy be quick ? Say, its a Javascript file is created in the folder on web server 1, would vice versa be able to copy to the 50 servers in time for a GET request from a web page for that resource coming into web server 50 ?

I guess what I am asking is whether Vice Versa is suitable for enterprise size tasks across lots of web servers

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello

VV does not have a centralized control (yet, we'd like to add one), so you'll need to install on all 50 servers. But you can get an e-mail notification if something goes wrong on any server, it's included in the new 2.5 : http://www.tgrmn.com/web/forum/viewtopict2756.htm

How much data in total needs to be replicated?

thanks
