I have a batch of JPG files that ViceVersa Plus 2.4.2 refuses to back up. Other files backup just fine to the same drive. The problem files are not trying to overwrite previous backups - they just refuse to copy. I'll have to do it manually if I can;t find a cure.
ViceVersa keeps claiming that "The size, attributes or timestamp of xxx.jpg have changed after comparison. For data security reasons the file will be skipped. Press 'Refresh' to recompare Source and Target."
The attributes have NOT changed. I have tried re-saving the affected files and restarting ViceVersa on a number of occasions - to no effect.
Grateful for any useful hints on how to circumvent this block to progress. |

Thanks.
As I said in my original post - it's PLUS.
But I think now that the problem stems from an issue with my external drive rather than Vice Versa. I haven't yet finished my diagnostics, but it's looking that way after CheckDisk didn't run to completion and a number of attempted file copying operations off that drive have failed with CRC messages. |
