I am running vice versa via the command-line and get Error Code 10 which suggests using the profile option 'Replace newer target files with older source files'.
Unfortunately my source folder changes every time this is run, so I can't use a profile. Is there a way to specify 'Replace newer target files' from the command line or make it a default setting?
My command is:
viceversa.exe /source:"c:\Build_1234\SourceDir" /target:"\\TargetServer\c$\TargetDir" /incsub /hiddenautoexec /comptype:1 /exec:2
Source path varies. Target path is constant. I will often have newer target files, and need them to be replaced.
I am running this command from MSBuild, so I can't run it manually or on a schedule.
If this is not possible, is there a way to pass a Source Path when calling a profile from the command line? (This is actually the method I would prefer)
Thanks. |

Hello
currently it's not possible, but we'd like to add the possibility to specify on the command line a profile + override some of the settings with command line options, that is by specifying a profile + source /source:"c:\Build_1234\SourceDir", that would take all profiles settings but change the source into c:\Build_1234\SourceDir
Right now it's not possible and the only way is to modify the .fsf which is a text file...

Hello
this has been improved in version 2.5 beta, please write to support@tgrmn.com if interested. Now a profile can be specified on the command line and profile options are overwritten with the parm on the command line. So you can create a profile template without source and use it on the command line and specify the source with the /source parm, thanks _________________ --
