We currently have 2 load balanced servers and we are running VVEngine on one of the to keep the files in sync. The problem is sometimes the files are not syncing quickly enough for some process to complete successfully. Should we be running VVEngine on both servers or do we already have the correct setup?
Thanks.

Did you setup VVEngine to run on source / target changes? Is most of the time taken during comparison / how many files?

Viceversa is not a cluster nor support realtime block-level-synchronisation.
And if you like using load-balancing, both servers must be static or
completly synchronized. Otherwise you will receive sometimes inconsistent
datas. normally this problems increase with growing amount of data
and with heavy web-load, but is a weakness of the conception. |
