I'm using the latest version of VVPro and have archiving enabled. I'm using it in replication mode to backup a production file server. After a couple of days I checked the archive directory where VV puts files that have been updated, and there wasn't anything there. I know that it is in fact putting stuff there because I've examined the log directory.

Come to find out, the archived files showed up when I disabled the Windows Explorer viewing option "hide protected operating system files". For some reason the files getting archived are getting flagged as protected OS files, even though they were originally user data (word docs, pdf, xl files) .

Any ideas on what's happening here?

Hello

please check if each file is marked as "system" or "hidden" or if only the main archive folder is (this was an issue with an old version of ViceVersa)

thanks
