I would like to routinely take full copy backup of my main data folder to two USB drives on alternate weeks. That is, the one source going one week to drive A and on the next week to drive B and so on. Can you foresee any problems? Will ViceVersa not get confused?

Hello

That will work fine, but do not use a tracking database in the profile settings (it is not needed anyway for the backup method): a tracking database could get VV confused. Without it, it will work fine.

thanks

Thanks for your reply.
I don't quite follow your recommendation because I don't know what "a tracking database in the profile settings" is. I simply start the program, select "Source" and 'Target" folders and away we go. Am I missing some features? Please let me know.

Hello

a tracking database will be setup with the sync method, but if you select backup or replication, there is no tracking db used so it will work fine.

thanks
