I have a backup on an external IOMEGA drive that is no longer required and I cannot delete it.
The backup is now done on a different external drive so you can still compare it etc. but I don't seem to be able to just get rid of it - I am probably missing something simple!
Any help would be appreciated.

I have tried both!
Windows explorer just returns a permissions error, and in VV I can't see anywhere to delete the folder without it deleting files off the source drive.
This is a backup of the whole of the main HDD of the source computer which is now held on a different external HDD using another drive letter. Even if you attach the original HDD and assign it the same letter as originally when the backup was created you don't seem to be able to delete it. I want to give the old HDD away but retain some of the infomration on it as it is relevant to the person who is getting it, but my backup is just taking up space.
Best regards.
