Hello. I am a newbie to Vice Versa and need some help on how to change the profile settings.
On a server we have a profile created that backs up the content of a drive on this server to out backup server. I need to change the setting so that the backup also includes the path names that are exceeding 259 chars. I found out that by putting \\?\ in front of the target and source (???) this would be done. Do I just add this to the address in the source and target fields in the first window opened when I start Vice Versa and this will work? Should I use \\?\ in fromt of both target and source destinations? |

Hello, welcome to the forum!
Yes, add \\?\ in front of both paths: for example c:\ becomes \\?\c:\
If you are using UNC paths, e.g. \\computer\share\, then use \\?\UNC\ instead: \\computer\share\ becomes \\?\UNC\computer\share\ _________________ --
