all works when VV has full access to all folder in the backup path...sometimes the folder or file gets corrupt, or the path goes down and when scheduled or manual backup is runned it just terminates the backup and will not even try to do any backup....how can I tell it to skip on errors and continue....thanks

Hello

are you using multiple source / target pairs in one profile?
If positive, use the option "Continue even if sources/targets are inaccessible" under profile settings -> folders

This option instructs ViceVersa to continue even if some source or target root folders are inaccessible. This is useful in multiple source/target profiles because some of the folders may be unavailable, in which case, ViceVersa will skip them. If a profile contains only one source/target pair this option is not applicable. In this case if the root source or target is not available, ViceVersa will stop.

thanks

I have been testing few items and the info previously helped and it does skip if there is no access to folder but randomly I get [ERROR] \\xxxxx\d$\UserDirs: The specified network name is no longer available.

I know the connection works since I was on the server remotely and I had files open and I still get that message at random points and then the software and it happens from multiple shares..

the log shows...

Checking source \\xxxxxx\d$\UserDirs\ ...
[ERROR] Error while reading Source information.
Aborted.
Exit Code: 2. Execution not completed. [ERROR]
************************************************************
END ID: 200925152434-1818584-4024

then all ends and no backup has been performed...

Hello

how many source / target pairs are you using in one profile?
Maybe it would be better to split into multiple profiles.

thanks
